Manifest Your Desires Using the Law of Assumption

Chapter 1: Understanding the Law of Assumption
Have you ever come across the phrase “fake it until you make it”? This expression implies that you should behave as if you are already the person you aspire to be. A more precise version might be: “Assume it, and you’ll align with it.”
The Law of Assumption is a principle introduced by self-help author and speaker Neville Goddard. He states, “Simply dare to assume you are what you want to be and you will compel everyone to play their part.” This prompts an introspective question: “What would my life look like if I were to embrace a different assumption?”
When you adopt a new assumption, pay attention to the shifts in your physical demeanor.

For instance, during my walks, I remind myself of the following affirmations:
- I am worthy.
- I am confident.
- I am loved.
- I am happy.
- I am successful.
- I am respected.
As I repeat these affirmations, an incredible transformation occurs: my posture improves, I walk with purpose, and I carry myself as if I’m on a mission.

The self-assurance I gain from this practice surrounds me, empowering me to believe in the truth of my affirmations. I no longer concern myself with others' opinions; I realize that my thoughts are my own and not subject to external judgment.
I operate under the belief that things will work out in my favor, and more often than not, they do. When challenges arise, I trust that solutions will present themselves, which they usually do.

This isn’t to say that I’ve had a flawless journey; I’ve encountered setbacks and disappointments. However, I choose not to linger on them. Instead, I find ways to move forward, maintaining an expectation that brighter days lie ahead.
This approach may require a mental shift, particularly for those who lean towards pessimism. It necessitates a conscious choice to recognize the positive aspects of life. Ultimately, no one else can make this change for you.
Pessimism can be likened to surrendering your personal power, as it involves anticipating the worst. If that’s your current mindset, that’s perfectly okay. Yet, if you’re ready to let go of negativity, start by assuming that good outcomes are on the horizon.
Want to attract more abundance? Assume that you already possess it by standing tall, exuding confidence, and feeling empowered. These mental states are within your reach without needing validation from anyone else.

Begin with affirmations, such as those I shared earlier. Explore what it feels like to genuinely believe that positive things will manifest in your life. By doing so, you'll likely feel more empowered and in charge of your destiny. What you assume can indeed become your reality.
If you found this insight helpful, I encourage you to applaud (one clap is nice, but fifty is phenomenal), share, comment, follow, or even support me with a coffee!
