Singing Adventures of Cyber Granny: From Stage to Screen

Chapter 1: Embracing the Spotlight
In my seventies, I still possess the passion for singing that I’ve had all my life. Standing before an audience and belting out challenging songs gives me immense joy. Psychologists may have puzzled over my enthusiasm for years, yet the admiration I receive often suggests that being a singer is considered a remarkable feat.
Despite my age, I still manage to deliver some impressive vocals. Like many in this digital age, I enjoy showcasing my performances on YouTube. Call it vanity, but I relish the attention that comes with it.
During my most recent performance, my musician friend Andrey filmed me with his iPhone at an outdoor concert. The wind was a challenge, causing some unexpected vocal mishaps. I might have flubbed a note, but that doesn't deter my spirit; I'm proud of my performances, flaws and all.
Section 1.1: The Challenge of Self-Critique
Listening to my own recordings often leaves me feeling queasy. I depend on the audience's feedback to gauge my performance. Fortunately, those who witnessed my last concert seemed to enjoy my singing, which brought me some relief.
After recording, I had a video on my phone, visible only to me and a select few. To truly share my talent, I felt compelled to upload it to YouTube. I imagined myself as a competitor to Josh Groban with my rendition of "You Raise Me Up," even if my high notes weren't as polished.
Subsection 1.1.1: The Tech Struggle
However, I faced a dilemma: I had no idea how to upload a video from my phone to YouTube. My only option was to email the video to myself and transfer it to my aging Dell desktop, which was barely hanging on.
The process was frustrating, as my old computer struggled with the video file's size, leading to endless stalls. Eventually, I resigned myself to letting the video sit untouched, trapped between my phone and email.
Section 1.2: A New Beginning
Weeks passed, and I finally acquired a fabulous used Lenovo laptop from my friend The Sturg. With ample memory and upgraded features, I thought, "Now's my chance to upload that video!"
Yet, when I attempted to upload directly from my phone, I faced more challenges. After several unsuccessful tries, I decided to transfer the video to my new laptop first, which proved successful after some tinkering.
Chapter 2: The Grand Upload
With determination, I finally managed to upload the video to YouTube. Although I was too exhausted to celebrate, I felt a sense of accomplishment.
