For quite some time, I was unaware that I could regain control over when my self-published stories go live. By using this simple scheduling hack, you can save both time and energy.

Here’s how to make the most of Medium's scheduling feature:

1. When you’re ready with a draft, click the green ‘Publish’ button.

2. Select ‘Schedule for later’.

3. Choose the exact date and time you want your post to be published, and then click on the green ‘Schedule to publish and send’ button.

4. You can check the status of your scheduled post in your story drafts or your publication’s stories section. Your story will automatically go live within five minutes of the scheduled time.
